The origins of the company date back to 1866 when a partnership called Bannisters was formed. In the 1980's this business was incorporated and afterwards amalgamated with Wellers, another well established auction house with market premises in Guildford.Wellers has diversified away from agricultural in the last 25 years and its core businesses are now fine art antiques and household effects auctions, car, contractors' plant and machinery auctions and professional services to the farming community.We pride ourselves on our ability to sell almost anything and each week our professional auctioneers successfully sell thousands of lots, striving to secure the best price for the client.
