Lockdales Coins & Collectables
We hold bi-monthly live auctions at the Ipswich Novotel, in which we sell collectables from all the above categories. We have three outlets/offices, in Ipswich, Lowestoft and Cambridge. We are one of the major dealers of metal-detectors and accessories in our region. We maintain a strong Ebay operation, with several hundred items on the go at any one time. You can often find us at coin shows nationwide, we welcome new vendors, and we are always looking to buy in items of the types above. If you've got anything that you wish to sell then we'd love to hear from you! We will make a fair and honest offer to buy, if you're selling, or we'll give you our vendor's terms that in several ways London houses can't compete with. Preferential rates are available depending on the quality of the goods you supply; we are looking especially to boost our intake of stamps, cigarette cards, and postcards. We excel in the sale of British hammered coins in particular, due in some part to the interests of collectors in our region. We send 1000 catalogues through the post nationwide, 5000 by email internationally, and last auction we received over 3000 hits on our online catalogue: high value items will sell with us, as they would at the major London houses, except that less of the money goes to us, and more to you.
