CPA was founded in March 1972Public auctions are held approximately every 5 - 6 weeks at The Maltings in Ely. This characteristic building erected in 1868 was first used as a brewery and converted in 1987 into a venue for conferences and functions. It is in a pleasant location overlooking The River Ouse.Cambridgeshire Philatelic Auctions now comprise about 3000 lots featuring worldwide collections, single stamps, sets and covers.Usually 100 or more clients attend these sales with another 500 - 600 postal bidders participating.
